Support our 2025-2026 Church School Mission Project with Journey Home – A Hand Up Furniture Program

Each year, we alternate between a local and global focus for our mission projects. This year we have a local focus and are excited to be partnering with Journey Home. At Journey Home, “We believe that everyone deserves not just a place to live but a place to call home.” To this end, Journey Home’s A Hand Up program works to support those who are currently transitioning from homelessness to housing by providing them with household goods and furniture. Together with local individuals, community organizations, businesses and other groups, A Hand Up collects donations of gently used furniture and household items and delivers them to newly housed clients. We aim to contribute $10,000 to this important initiative. More information is available at: journeyhomect.org.

Money collected from children’s offerings, fundraisers, Advent calendar sales, your donations and memorial gifts all go to support this mission project.
