Potty Party Rescheduled for February 22 + Donate Items this Week

Join our rescheduled “Potty Party” on Sunday, February 22, in Schultz Hall at 11:30 a.m. to assemble welcome home bathroom kits for Journey Home clients. You can also donate bathroom items for this project! Examples are toilet brush or cleaner, plunger, bathroom spray cleaner, toilet paper, sponges, hand soap, paper towels, etc.) Please drop off your donations in the basket in the back lobby this week.

This year’s Church School Mission Project will support Journey Home’s A Hand Up program which works to support those who are currently transitioning from homelessness to housing by providing them with household goods and furniture. Together with local individuals, community organizations, businesses and other groups, A Hand Up collects donations of gently used furniture and household items and delivers them to newly housed clients. They work directly with individual clients to identify their needs and provide them with items based on their specific requests, to help make their new houses into homes.
