Dear Friends,
Join us for worship at 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday as we reflect on the powerful connection between love and justice. Scripture teaches us that love is at the heart of God's will for humanity, calling us to love our neighbors as ourselves. This love is not just about kindness or compassion—it is also a call to act justly in the face of injustice. True love compels us to stand with the oppressed, to seek equity for those marginalized and to ensure that all people are treated with dignity and respect. Love and justice are inseparable, for as we love one another, we must also work toward a world where fairness, truth and righteousness prevail.
This week Pastor Betsey will remind us that justice is love in action. It is not enough to feel compassion in our hearts; we must embody that love through our words and deeds, seeking to bring about healing and restoration in our communities. May we be inspired by God's perfect love and allow it to guide our pursuit of justice. Together, let us strive to build a world that reflects the love of Christ, where justice reigns and all people are treated with the grace and dignity they deserve.
