On Monday, May 12, we will travel to Hartford to serve a community dinner at Hands on Hartford. We will be both providing the food and bringing in a crew to serve. For those of us serving, we will arrive at 55 Bartholomew Ave. in Hartford at 4:30 pm. Dinner is served from 5:30 to 6:30 and we will be finished by 7:00 pm.
We are also responsible for preparing the food. We will need a main dish (recipes provided), prepared salads, dinner rolls, fruit, beverages, and dessert. Click te hbutton above to sign up. Those items can be dropped off at the church kitchen either Sunday morning (5/11) or Monday afternoon (5/12) from 3:00 to 4:00 pm.

First Church has had a long tradition of collecting food items for our neighbors in need. Our March food collection of instant potatoes, peanut butter, cereal and other items will support the Horace Bushnell Children's Food Pantry. Please bring food that is not expired or open. For those who want to contribute to the Youth Mission Trip to Back Bay Mission in April, the Board of Youth Ministries will host a Giving Tree donation table during fellowship time in Schultz Hall from March 9 – April 6. Take a tag or donate online to help our youth by paying for meals, scholarships, vans, supplies and more. Your support makes the mission trip possible for our teens and is deeply appreciated!
