Years ago your worship staff members came up with a mnemonic for remembering the order of Advent Sundays.
Helping People Join in Love (aka Hope, Peace, Joy, Love)!
This Sunday we will light the candle of peace. We all long for personal peace and pray for a world where violence and hatred end and peace reigns. How do we do that? Often I think of Mother Teresa’s famous words about peace.
"If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other."
We belong to each other and to God, and one way we show this is by worshipping together. We invite you to worship with us on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. in the Micah Chapel, 10:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse or online.
