Presenting the return of internationally acclaimed American singer-songwriter, pianist and blue-eyed soul legend, Grayson Hugh, along with his wife, Polly Messer. Hugh’s piano playing has been called “a veritable cyclone of soul” and his voice has been compared to Sam Cooke and Otis Redding. Don’t miss the chance to see this talented duo up close and personal, performing Hugh’s songs from his albums, Blind to Reason, Road to Freedom, An American Record and Back to the Soul, as well as his hits from radio and Oscar-winning films Thelma and Louse and Fried Green Tomatoes. His program will feature the most recent collaboration with Polly, Save your Love for Me, released in 2023, containing thirteen songs in a roots country style. It is a rare opportunity to hear Grayson and Polly perform some of Grayson’s hits from radio and film as well as previously unreleased songs in an intimate, acoustic setting.
