CALL TO ANNUAL MEETING

May 19, 2025

To the members of the First Church of Christ, Glastonbury:

Pursuant to Section 7.1.1 of the Church By-Laws, you are hereby notified of, and cordially invited to attend, the Annual Meeting of the Congregation to be held in the Meetinghouse on Monday, May 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. to hear and act upon the following matters: 

1.    To receive the Annual Reports of the ministers, officers, boards and committees of the Church;

2.    To receive the report of the Nominating Committee regarding nominations for the officers, members of the boards and committees, and delegates of the Church for the period from June 1, 2025 through May 31, 2026;

3.    To elect the officers, members of boards and committees, and delegates of the Church for the same period;

4.    To hear and act on upon a request from the Board of Trustees to approve the use of up to $107,000 of Founders Fund monies for a solar array proposal into Eversource’s August 1, 2025 NRES Program. Once approved (by Eversource), the array will be installed and placed into service.

5.    To accept the resignation of Rev. Andrew J. Wicks, Associate Pastor;

6.    To transact any other business that is properly brought forward during the meeting.
