Donate to our Annual Giving Tree

We filled 122 requests for gift cards for our 2025 Giving Tree and supported three organizations helping area families to buy gifts and food for their children.

Covenant to Care (aided 50 children) supports families in crisis or transition, including children in foster care. They work with religious communities to provide goods and services to abused and neglected children.

First Church is matched with a Department of Children and Families (DCF) social worker who gives us a list of gifts for specific children or families in her or his caseload. Manchester Area Conference of Churches (MACC) (assisted six families) provides food, clothing, outreach and advocacy services for unmet basic needs in the community.

First Church sponsors families in need chosen by MACC with Christmas gifts and food gift cards. We also collect gifts for local children in need through Glastonbury Social Services (benefited 20 children).
