Dear Friends,

Year after year we come together on All Saints' Sunday to say out loud the names of our departed church members during our worship services. We recall the people and their stories, and we lift them up to God in a spirit of thanksgiving, love and remembrance. Over the generations, First Church’s saints have dreamed, built, served and loved, and we are grateful to be part of the long legacy of our church community.

Despite knowing we are blessed to be part of our church community, it’s easy to feel the weight of the world on our shoulders. Many of us are struggling with what's happening in our world and with our own mental health. Intolerance and injustice seem never ending. War and violence are plaguing our world. One way I know to combat this heaviness is to come together, as one community, committed to values of inclusion, hope, peace, compassion, integrity and grace.

We hope you will join us this Sunday at 8:00 a.m. in the Micah Chapel or at 10:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse or you can watch online.

A place at the table is ready for you so come just as you are, and together we will find connection, inspiration and love.
