Dear Friends,
As we enter this sacred season of Lent, we are invited into a forty-day journey of reflection, following the Spirit into the wilderness just as Jesus did. This season is an invitation to be God's beloved who embody peace and compassion.
Each week we gather together to remember who we are and whose we are. We hope you will come to worship this Sunday as together we are journeying in the wilderness of Lent. We will worship at 8:00 a.m. in the Micah Chapel, 10:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse or online.
The bulletin, large print bulletin and announcement slides are available on our website. You can watch any of our livestreamed or recorded services on our YouTube channel.
Lent is a season of reflection and repentance. It is also a season where we are reminded that we are not alone on the journey of life and that we are called to be people of peace and compassion. On the bulletin cover for this Sunday's service, you will see a picture of one of the crafts the children made during our 2025 VBS.
The Journey Wand of Kindness
On this road we travel, we want to be kind.
We share God's love with everyone we find.
God is with us on the journey, guiding our way.
On the go with God, let us journey each day.
With every step and every act, let God's love be conveyed.
With God as our guide through our Lenten journey, may we walk in the ways of peace, stand together and rise in hope and love.
Lenten blessings,
Kate

Our First Church family of faith enjoys worshipping together, and we hope you will join us! On most Sundays our worship services are at 8:00 am in the Micah Chapel, 10:00 am in the Meetinghouse and livestreamed at 10:00 am (and are also available for viewing later).
