Dear Friends,

On the cover of the bulletin for this Sunday, you will find this inspiring quote.

The child does not yet know what belongs and what does not:

therefore for her all things belong.

The ear of the child is open to all music.

Her eyes are open to all arts.

Her mind is open to all tongues.

Her being is open to all manners.

In the child’s country, there are no foreigners.

~ Kenneth L. Patton, This World, My Home

Imagine if we lived in a world where all things and people belonged. At First Church, we strive to create that kind of community where all are welcomed, loved and embraced wherever we are on life’s journey. We are blessed with a community of all ages who come to serve, learn, grow, pray, play and worship together.

We invite you to worship with us on Sunday. There will be two services – 8:00 a.m. in the Micah Chapel and 10:00 a.m. in the Meetinghouse or you can watch online.

The bulletin, large print bulletin and announcement slides are available above. You can watch any of our livestreamed or recorded services on our YouTube channel.

In a world of sadness, destruction, violence and hatred, let us be like the children that Kenneth Patton describes with ears, eyes, minds and beings open to all and ready to embrace the beauty that surrounds us.

Blessings and peace,

Kate

Our First Church family of faith enjoys worshipping together, and we hope you will join us! On most Sundays our worship services are at 8:00 am in the Micah Chapel and 10:00 am in the Meetinghouse and livestreamed (and are also available for viewing later).
