Support our 2026-2027 Church School Mission Project with Shine Guatemala: Growing a Global Heart

Each year, we alternate between a local and global focus for our mission projects. This year, our Church School is partnering with local pediatrician Dr. Cliff O’Callahan and Concern America to support life-changing health and community development projects in rural Guatemala. For more than 30 years, Dr. Cliff has worked alongside Guatemalan communities, helping families build healthier, stronger and more self-sufficient lives. Rather than simply providing aid, Concern America empowers local people through education, healthcare and sustainable solutions that continue for generations.

Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support projects such as:

  • Providing fluoride and deworming treatments for children

  • Bringing safe, clean drinking water to villages

  • Building dry composting latrines to improve sanitation

  • Installing safer, more efficient cookstoves

  • Training local healthcare workers and midwives through virtual and in-person education

  • Supporting artisan cooperatives that create lasting economic opportunities

Every dollar helps bring hope, health and opportunity while empowering communities to thrive. Together, we can support Shine Guatemala by growing compassionate hearts and making a lasting difference around the world.

Money collected from children’s offerings, fundraisers, Advent calendar sales, your donations and memorial gifts all go to support this mission project.
