This year’s Church School Mission Project will support Journey Home’s A Hand Up program which works to support those who are currently transitioning from homelessness to housing by providing them with household goods and furniture. Together with local individuals, community organizations, businesses and other groups, A Hand Up collects donations of gently used furniture and household items and delivers them to newly housed clients. They work directly with individual clients to identify their needs and provide them with items based on their specific requests, to help make their new houses into homes.
