Caring for Your Mind, Body and Spirit: Let’s Talk About Death Over Dinner is a guided gathering hosted by our Mental Health Ministry (with a special guest speaker) that invites us to explore one of life’s most important, and often avoided, topics. Over a shared meal, we will hear a presentation on how to talk about grief and how to support others who are experiencing grief, followed by space for reflection and conversation with each other about important topics related to end-of-life that give greater meaning and fullness to our lives now.
The evening is designed to nurture our spirits, easing the fear and stigma around talking about death and loss. All are welcome to join in this meaningful time of learning, connection and care.
Sandwiches and dessert will be provided, but if you’d like to bring your own food, you are also welcome to do so. Sign up online if you would like to attend or contact Nicole Struth at nicole@glastonburyfirst.org if you have any questions.
