Judy and Stanley were drawn to the church by its commitment to diversity and inclusion.  Since joining the church, she has been a member of the Board of Christian Service acting as a co-leader for the Hands on Hartford luncheons. She was co-chair of the Micah Children's Initiative during the implementation phase. Judy and Stanley are proud to have supported the Love for Children Capital Campaign which supports the partnership with Robert O’Brien School in East Hartford.   Stanley is an active member of, and soloist with, the church choir.

"The dedication and generosity of the church to serving the wider community is one of the things we love most about First Church," Judy said.  ”We also appreciate the ongoing efforts to acknowledge and respect diversity and create an environment where all people feel welcomed."

For Judy, three words that describe First Church are: Engaged...Open/Receptive...Committed.
